What is "MPPT"? Solar panels all have an optimum output voltage at which they can supply maximum power. The MaxiTrakka continously calculates the power coming from the panels and adjusts the load/output to maintain maximum power transfer. This is a vast improvement over simply running panels directly into a pump or through a standard regulator. Improvement can be as high as 30% in efficiency.
